This Reporter Got So High He Couldn’t Finish Reporting
A BBC reporter delivered the giggling and hilarious newscast of the year when he accidentally smoked a pile of burning heroin, opium, and hashish he was supposed to be reporting on.
BBC’s Quentin Sommerville was reporting from Afghanistan when he started inhaling the story, and eventually collapsing into laughter each time he tried to film an intro.
He reportedly posted it on Twitter Monday.
“You’ve earned a xmas laugh, at my expense.”
However, he deleted the tweet, probably due to copyright issues. A spokesman for the BBC told the Telegraph the clip was never broadcast.
“The video of Quentin corpsing, which has now been deleted, was posted in the spirit of a blooper. It was filmed four years ago – it hasn’t been seen before and was never broadcast.”
However, the Internet never forgets.
Always be careful where you stand during an afghan drugs bust 🙂 @sheeraf
