The Hypnotist Bandit Strikes Again?
Have you ever heard of the hypnotist bandit? Apparently, there is a guy out there that is robbing banks through the use of hypnosis. According to reports, he stares at bank tellers and hypnotizes them while robbing the bank.
Investigators have released an image of the man, who robbed the Bank of America branch in Manhattan Beach recently. The FBI believes that this man is in fact the hypnotist bandit and that this was not his first job.
According to police reports, the robber tells the bank tellers to keep eye contact with him and to not break eye contact with him while he is robbing the bank. Many experts believe that he is using some type of hypnosis in order to get the cooperation he wants from the bank tellers.
He has pulled off jobs in a number of places, not only in Manhattan Beach, but also South El Monte and Temple City in June. There was also a job in Pasadena in May that many believe that the hypnotist bandit is responsible for as well.
According to a police report from the Bank of America, a man entered the bank in the afternoon, at about 4:30pm and passed a note to the bank teller stating that he wanted large bills. The note also said “this is a robbery” and he then asked the teller to make the entire operation “quick and easy.”
The police have given a description, stating that he is either white or Hispanic, about six feet two or four inches tall and about 30 years old. He has dark brown eyes and hair and a thin build and might have a red hart tattoo on one of his hands.
Be on the lookout for him, but don’t look into his eyes!
