Slovak Artist Creates World’s First Advertisement For Sex
A Slovak artist, who changed his name to Matus the First when he moved to Berlin three years ago, claims he is the first person ever to produce a commercial for sex without vulgar scenes.
The one-minute-long video uses a pencil and a pencil sharpener to advertise the joys of sex, promoting intercourse as a leisure activity that ‘should be more widely enjoyed’, according to the Daily Mirror.
The artist says that the commercial promotes sex and sex alone.
‘’When sex becomes a routine it is necessary to change something. Therefore this is not a product commercial, because you can’t buy a solution to some things. I felt though that in some cases it might be important for people to change something in their minds and this commercial is not only about sex but also about thinking.”
Matus the First added that the English voice used in the commercial is British musician Sean Black who makes electronic music.
The commercial will not be aired on TV; it was produced to be shared online. The video was released through the Metropolitan Film Institute’s YouTube channel and has more than 100,000 views.
