Ghost Photobombs Family Photo At The Kings Arms Hotel
Ghosts and haunted places are no rarity in England, at least according to believers in the paranormal. A country with such a long, rich and often violent history is bound to be haunted by quite a few disgruntled spirits who still seek justice for what happened to them in their former lives.
A teacher, Debbie Monteforte, thought it would be a nice idea to go for a cup of tea on Christmas in one of the oldest pubs in England with her husband Alex and son Raphael. They had a nice time and wanted to snap a picture that would preserve this family memory. The picture came out fine, albeit with one strange and unsettling detail – in addition to Alex and Christopher, there is someone else in it.
There is a person standing behind the father and son, in the upper right corner of the photo, seemingly a very tall woman in a long dark coat. Debbie insists that there was no one behind them when they took the photo and that it couldn’t be just a hanged coat either, since there was no place to put a coat behind the family table.
The Kings Arms Hotel, which is over 300 years old, is located in southwest London, just outside King Henry VIII’s former residence, the Hampton Court Palace. It is said that a long time ago, a young boy found his mother hanged in one of the rooms of the palace. Devastated, the boy threw himself out of a window and died. The ghosts of both the mother and the son are said to have be haunting the area for centuries.
Is the image in the picture that woman? Whatever the explanation, the photo is incredibly creepy.
