Flight Diverted Because Of Smelly Poo In Airplane Toilet
Talk about a stinky situation. A British Airways flight was forced to turn around and go back to Heathrow Airport because someone left an incredibly stinky poo in the bathroom. How bad good it be? According to people on the flight, the smell of the bowel movement was so bad that the cabin crew feared for the safety of the passengers.
What did this person eat? Something toxic? The plane took of from London and was headed to Dubai. It was supposed to be a seven hour flight. But after only 30 minutes of flying, the crew decided to turn back.
The plane was over Belgium at the time when the pilot called in the cabin crew to tell them that they would be going back.
The pilot made an announcement, acknowledging the terrible smell, and said that it was a “liquid fecal movement,” so we’re guessing it was a bad case of diarrhea.
He made sure to assure the passengers that there was nothing wrong with the airplane and that there were no technical issues. It was simply the fact that the poo was so terribly foul, that he could not risk having the passengers suffer through the smell any longer. Imagine having to eat lunch or dinner with the terrible stench of toxic poo in the air.
Unfortunately, there were no other flights to Dubai at that time and the passengers had to wait another 15 hours for the first possible flight to board. But British Airways took care of them, giving them all hotel rooms to make sure that they got some rest instead of having to wait at the airport all day.
