Firefighters Help Free Horse From Bathtub. Wait, Wut?
Firefighters in Sacramento, California received a strange phone call, letting them know that there was a horse that needed their assistance. Apparently, the horse got stuck in an a bathtub. What was the bathtub doing outdoors? It was actually being used as a makeshift through where the horse would receive its food. It turns out that the horse somehow slipped and fell into the bathtub and could not get out.
It’s an old horse, about 30 years old, so maybe it was to be expected. You know how elderly people often slip in the bathtub and break a hip? Well, that’s kind of what happened to the horse. But thankfully, it was not injured too badly.
The firefighters came to the scene and saw the horse in the tub with its legs up in the air. Apparently, it had been stuck in the bathtub some 20 minutes before the firefighters were able to get it out.
When the firefighters received the call from the woman whose husband owns the horse, they didn’t quite understand what was going on.
“You’re husband can’t get out of the bathtub,” a dispatcher asked.
But the woman answered, “No, it’s my horse.”
With the help of a couple family members, the firefighters were able to pull the horse, named Phantom, out of the bathtub and get it back on its feet. Luckily, no injuries were sustained by the horse or the people who pulled it out of the bathtub.
