Creepy Armed Clowns Roam The Streets Of California Towns
Mysterious people dressed as creepy, evil clowns have been causing panic in California’s San Joaquin Valley for quite some time. They terrorize California towns in the middle of the night and seem to be carrying guns now. According to the Bakersfield Californian, the police received a call Saturday night from a distressed person saying that a clown was holding a firearm. However, once the cops arrived, the clown was nowhere to be found.
Lt. Jason Matson, of the Bakersfield PD, told The Californian that this was not the first time they have had to deal with these evil clowns.
‘We’ve had multiple of these clown sightings all over town. He was gone by the time we arrived.’
At first, a local calling himself Wasco Clown began posting images on social media. And, soon a bunch of copycats showed up in Bakersfield.
In Wasco, people think that there is a gang of bandits dressed up as clowns.
Anthony Garza, of Wasco, told KGET that he had seen a clown about three times and added that he sure looked scary. Some people even go out hunting for the clown when others report seeing him. Noah Sanchez confirmed to KGET that people use social media to locate the devilish creature.
‘Some of the residents go in cars searching for him. They have flashlights and try and spot him in neighborhoods after he posts to Twitter.’
However, those hunts seem to be futile since no one knows who the clowns are. Kevin Cabello told KGET that some people think it’s one person, while others believe it’s several.
‘Yesterday they were saying there were two, then they were trying to say like seven, but I don’t know.’
A deputy with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Sgt. Ian Chandler, said that there have been reports of crimes committed by people dressed as clowns, but none of the clowns has actually been linked to any criminal activity.
‘We have had no reports of any assaults by a clown nor have we any arrests of any clowns at any time I have been here and I have been here two years.’
