Circus Crocodile Crushed By A Very Overweight Woman
Circus owners (and goers), take note! Never position your “fattest lady in the world” freak act next to your precious animals. No matter how resilient and tough those animals may seem. Yes, it is true crocodiles have sinewy skin and are generally sturdy, but their bones and internal organs may not be. Like this one found out the hard way.
Like many weird news emanating from Russia – from unique cases of road rage over drunk miners to extravagant pop stars and their flashy lifestyle – this one is also hard to believe, but it really did happen. Another proof that humans are a greater threat to animals than other way around.
So, a traveling circus was on its way to another town where they’d hold a performance. One of the buses, where menagerie was located, hit upon a bump on the road and took a turn sharper than normal, causing all sort of tumbling inside. A 260-pound woman, who was riding in the bus, lost her balance and fell over a seven-foot long crocodile who was resting unsuspectingly in his lair (what were overweight lady and a crocodile doing in the same bus eludes us).
RIA Novost report that Fyodor, as crocodile is called, suffered from severe injuries. Poor reptile spent the next few hours vomiting, which led the vets to believe that he sustained serious internal injuries. Luckily, Fyodor’s life was saved and the lady was just lightly bruised, not to mention enraged by how the local medias christened her after this strange event.
Well, there you have it, a strange story for today. But, let us comment on the appalling safety conditions under which all this happened. Seriously, how is it that you transport a human being in the same bus with one of the most dangerous beings in wilderness? Never mind that the woman turned out to be dangerous towards crocodile this time. Perhaps public eye will take heed more carefully of circus acts everywhere and report this kind of neglect to lives. Or they will just shun it altogether.
