Young Woman Has Her Extremely Restrictive Eating Disorder Cured By Hypnosis!

Imagine feeling physically sick at every attempt to eat any food – any food at all – except potato chips. Hanna Little (20) does not have to imagine it, since she herself went through that nutritive hell – and back again!

Hanna, the Cornwall inhabitant, suffered from a rare eating disorder (Selective Eating Disorder) because of which she felt terribly violent episodes of anxiety. These panic attacks left her unable to consume anything but chips – for 15 consecutive years! But as you are reading this, Hanna is finally feasting on proper food, because she is finally cured. By the means of hypnosis, that obliterated her fear of food!

Hanna explains her eating disorder as “making her terrified of trying to mix different flavors”, which is most likely why the only thing that her organism could muster was potato chips – because it is so plain in terms of flavor. She claims this has brought her nothing but misery, when on field trips with her friends or attending parties where various, delicious food was served.

It even made her feel embarrassed in front of her boyfriend, because she did not tell him about her condition. She remembers: “His mum made me an incredible pasta bake meal and I couldn’t eat a bite of it – I pretended that I was allergic to tomato sauce – it was so embarrassing.”

Beside obvious socially awkward situations, what was even much more serious was her degrading health. The chips only diet is never going to be a recipe for good health, and Hanna suffered very badly because of it. In fact, the turning point for her came when she passed out for umpteenth time whilst working in factory, due to her chronic malnutrition.

A clinical hypnotist, Felix Economakis, treated Hanna who was overjoyed after she found out she was able to eat a slice of pizza – after just one session of hypnosis. Economakis said that SED often has its roots in some kind of food related trauma that took place in the earliest days of childhood, while Hanna was still a baby – too long ago for her to remember it consciously.

By tinkering with her subconscious, Economakis managed to get a hold of Hanna’s trauma and help expose it to her – after which, she learned how to control her fears and even eradicate them. The result? A much happier, much healthier Hanna who is now enjoying all sorts of food and finally gaining weight!

She says her favorite food as of now are pizza and mangos and goes to admit that her life is like a completely new life now. “”The hypnotherapy treatment was amazing, I was so restricted before and now I can live a normal life.”
